SnagPad: a job search platform for seekers, coaches and agencies
ScalaCode built SnagPad for JobSearchBoard, LLC, a web and mobile platform that walks job seekers through a six-stage search process and gives job coaches and agencies live visibility into each client's activity, so coaching is based on live activity data held in one place.

JobSearchBoard wanted a platform that does a job board's work and more. It had to teach and organise job seekers, many of them on unemployment benefits, and help coaches guide those clients and manage job leads.
Why job seekers needed more than a job board
No job search training
Most seekers have never been taught how to run a search, so they apply at random and lose track.
Coaches are not always available
A coach cannot sit with every client, so advice often arrives too late.
Networks go unused
Seekers struggle to use their professional connections, though referrals are among the strongest routes to a job.
Remote coaching is hard to track
There was no easy way to see what a client did this week and line it up with the coaching plan.
