Will you sign an NDA before the call?
Yes. Say so in the form and we send a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive. Full IP assignment is in the master service agreement, so the code and designs are yours.
Who joins the call?
The first call is with the ScalaCode team. Engineers join once scoping starts in the discovery sprint, so bring whoever owns the technical decisions on your side to that stage.
Will the time difference be a problem?
Our engineers work from India and overlap with US, UK and European business hours. For US clients the standard overlap is 4 to 6 hours of the US working day.
How does pricing work?
Every fixed quote follows a free discovery sprint of 1 to 2 weeks. If you hire engineers instead, dedicated engineers start from $1,799 a month, full-time.
What should I prepare for the call?
No formal preparation is needed. A few lines on what you are building, who will use it, any deadline and the systems it has to connect to. Wireframes, a spec or access to the current codebase help if you have them.
